Jannik Lockl, born in 1991, graduated from high school in 2010 in Bad Windsheim, Germany. From 2010 to 2017, he studied industrial engineering and management at the University of Bayreuth. He gained international experience in 2012 at the engineering faculty of the Université Aix-Marseille. In the course of his bachelor’s degree, he also completed several internships with internationally active automotive suppliers and worked as a part-time consultant for a North Bavarian logistics service provider. Mr. Lockl has been involved in the start-up scene since the founding of two companies in 2012 and 2013 and continued to develop his entrepreneurial skills in 2017 after winning several international business plan competitions with his third foundation, a Health-Tech Start-up. He started as a student assistant at the Core Competence Center FIM in March 2017 and has been a research associate since February 2018.
Jannik Lockl is dedicated to the research area of the digitalization and its implications on business process management.
